After years of being confirmed as in development, production has officially begun on the fourth film in the Predator franchise titled simply The Predator.
The film is being directed by Shane Black who wrote the script along with Fred Dekker, and to celebrate the start of the shooting, Black posted the first look at some of the cast on his Twitter account with the message:
Partial cast… beautiful human beings, good people. Also, killers. Cameras roll today. Follow me on Twitter for updates. Wish us luck. Take a look below!
Pictured in the photo are Sterling K. Brown as a government agent, Trevante Rhodes as a military officer, Boyd Holbrook as Quinn McKenna, Jacob Tremblay as McKenna’s son, director Shane Black kneeling next to him, Olivia Munn as scientist Casey Bracket and Keegan-Michael Key. Not shown in the photo but also appearing in the film are 50 Cent and Thomas Jane.
Over the weekend Black also confirmed that the film will stay pretty much in the R-rated territory of previous films in the series (and no, AVP still doesn’t count).
And, just to be clear… PG-13 is for pussies. Spines bleed… a lot.
