The film would start production after The Wolverine, which is being directed by James Mangold, finishes shooting and so it would also be Trank’s next movie.
Given how poorly received were the previous film adaptations of the property, it shouldn’t be too difficult for Trank to top them and if he can bring that grittiness displayed on Chronicle into it then I’m more than excited to see the final product.
