Sony Pictures has just released the second trailer for their first entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The trailer features Tony Stark heavily, along with a better look at Michael Keaton’s The Vulture and even bigger details about the story. Check it out below.

Did you catch that scene straight out of Spider-Man 2? I’m not sure how I feel about this movie, and for me it seems like they’re trying too hard, like they didn’t learned the mistakes from The Amazing Spider-Man movies.

Sure there are some great action shots in there, and Michael Keaton definitely looks like will be fun to watch, but I’m still not sold on this version of the web slinger.

It also seems the movie will revisit a theme that was hinted on Iron Man 3, does the suit makes the hero? It’s a lesson this Peter Parker will have to learn if he wants to become an Avenger, but luckily for him (and the box office) Iron Man will be there to teach him how to be a hero.

What do you think?

Spider-Man: Homecoming will be in theaters on July 17, directed by Jon Watts and stars Tom Holland, Robert Downey, Jr., Laura Harrier, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Tony Revolori and Marisa Tomei. Michael Giacchino is stepping in to handle the score.
